China Flag Size: The Chinese flag is a combination of two colors, red and yellow. The base color is red, and there are five stars on it with yellow color. One star is big in size and, the other four are in the first-day moon-like alignment around it. These stars are at the top left side of the flag’s corner. It was on July fourth, 1949 that the Preparatory Committee of the New Political Consultative Conference issued the standards of the national flag of China. It is made with 3:2 size. The current flag was officially presented at the event of the official founding of the People’s Republic of China. Before this, there is a large history of Chinese flags. China had different eras under the leadership of different governances and so different flags. From 1862 through 1912, there were five colors of the Chinese flag. Then from 1912-1916, there was a different flag with different designs and colors. And so on it kept changing until 1949. Interesting facts: The flag of china resembles Vietnam’s flag. The current flag of china was selected in a competition in 1949. Participants had some instructions. The red color is a must. The flag should present the power of governance and working classes. It should also reflect the history as well as culture. The size must be 3:2. This competition was won by Zeheng’s design.
