Vietnam Flag Size: The official flag of the country is simple. The base color is red and right in the middle area of the flag there is a golden star. The flag was designed in 1940 and was used in the uprising against the French who were present in southern Vietnam at that time. The flag was also used by the Viet Minh in 1941 against Japanese Occupations. The first flag was in red with a yellow border and a yellow disk in the center but later on, in 1802 Gia Long who was emperor took over and changed the flag now the flag was changed to yellow color with a blue border and a red sun in the center. Later on, until 1955 many modifications were made. On November 30, 1955, flag was modified and the size of the star was decreased, and it was finalized and the flag is unchanged since.
