Egypt Flag Size: The national flag of Egypt is a tricolor flag. There are three horizontal stripes in red white and black color. The top band is in red while the last one is in black. In the center, there is an Eagle of Saladin which has been the national symbol of Egypt since 1952 and this emblem is present on the white horizontal stripe. The three horizontal stripes are equal to each other and the proportion of the flag is 2:3. The current flag was finalized on October 4, 1984, and it is based on the Arab liberation flag which was used in the Egyptian Revolution in 1952.
