Bulgaria Flag Size: The official national flag of Bulgaria is a rectangular-shaped simple flag. It consists of three horizontal bands. The shades of these bands are different from each other. The colors used in the flag are white red and green. While setting the public banner in an upward situation on a holding body the shadings will be organized from left to right, white, green, red, confronting the banner. The stripes of each shade are equivalent. White color is at the top, green color is in the middle, and red is at the bottom of the flag. The proportion ratio of the flag is 3:5. Meaning: The national flag is a symbol of the autonomy and sway of the Bulgarian State. The white shade in the flag represents harmony, love, and freedom. The green shows the agrarian abundance of the country. Red is for freedom of battle and military mental fortitude. History: The flag of Bulgaria was at first embraced in 1878-1879 after the Russo-Turkish War that achieved the opportunity of Bulgaria. The arrangement of the public banner was derived from the ethnic relationship of Bulgarians with the Russians. The white-blue-red shades of the Russian Tricolor were changed by subbing a green band to the Bulgarian flag. During the 1940s, the flag was changed to fuse the mark of the People’s Republic of Bulgaria. In 1971, the standard was again acclimated to change the date on the strip found on the badge. During the Communist norm, their peak — the red star and other socialist pictures were added and set in the upper crane corner of the flag. The pennant was again changed in 1990 after the destruction of Communism. It was during this time that the flag plan that was at first embraced in the nineteenth century was officially taken on as the Nation’s public pennant. Interesting Facts: Bulgarians had no national flag for almost 500 years. That was the era when they were under Ottoman rule. The flag was designed when the country achieved independence. The Bulgarian flag and state seal were designed by following state law in 1998. The public banner was motivated by the ethnic relationship of Bulgarians with their Slavic siblings, the Russians. The official current flag of the country was designed by S. Paraskevovo. The flag was first represented after the war between Russo-Turkish. After this war Bulgaria acquired autonomy. Hence, the flag was embraced at the event of Independence Day. Interesting Facts: The flag of Paraguay is the only two-sided flag.
